I like this Congrats card because I could see myself using it for many different occasions... wedding, birth of a baby girl, graduation, etc. I know I always make very feminine cards. I promise, I'll be making some masculine cards pretty soon. I always tend to make girly girl cards because I'm a girly girl! :) Can't help it!
Here's another card featuring the Library Card in the background. I love it! What do you think? Can't you see yourself using this? So many possibilities!
I love playing with this Library Card that I printed from Heather Nichols' site. Click here for the Library Card download. Just an FYI, I had to adjust the settings to print it out because the first time I printed it, the cards were just too small. So I had to play around with it until I got the size I wanted. Also, just this month, Heather Nichols introduced the same exact image as a stamp at PTI for only $5.00, so you can stamp it in any color you want. (What fun!) It must have been a very popular download! :) I just put in an order for that! Can't wait to play with it! Hope you like this one!
I think this card is soooo stinkin' cute! I love the placement of the butterfly and how it pops up on the card. I also love the ribbon ruffles that I put on the bottom. Love it!
I love weddings, don't you? In fact, I'll be attending a few weddings this summer, so this theme challenge is perfect for me to make some cards that I'll be needing. I've been having an "embellies obsession" so every one of my card seems to have an embellie on it. Oh well! They do dress up the cards...
Hope you like this card.
Hope you like this card.
I made these two bags using Lila Tueller's Eden fabric. I just started sewing and I'm not an expert at it but when I finish a piece, I totally feel tons of gratification! I gave the first one to a friend who just had a baby girl. I think I'll keep the second one since I absolutely love this fabric and hope to someday have a baby girl myself. Love it!
I'm so loving the bright cheerful colors on this card. Isn't it awesome. Again I chose these colors from the pattern paper. Great color combos, huh?
I don't know about you, but sometimes I just get stumped with color ideas. You know how I get around that? I just choose a patterned paper I like and my color choices are already picked out for me.
I wanted to make a card but wanted to use different color combos. I loved how bright and cheerful this patterned paper was, so I took it out and decided to use the green and blue colors in it as my base and for layering. This card was super easy to make!
Sometimes you make a card, you look at it and say, "Blah!" Well, this is not one of those times! I LOVE this card. I can honestly say it looks even better in person. Too bad you can't see it in person because it really is just lovely! I love how the colors work so well with each other. I am always reaching for green, pink, and white. It screams spring and summer! Love it! And I hope you do too!
I didn't realize I had some ink on my finger when putting this card together so I got a little on the top left corner. I also didn't notice how crooked the photo was. I apologize for that. You can still see it though, right? Hope you like this one too!
I didn't realize how blurry the first photo was until I downloaded it onto my computer so I apologize for that. I stamped the Argyle background, added a ruffled ribbon, and put the flower and sentiment on top. It was so easy to make. Love it!
I stamped the background with flowers from PTI's All About You stamp set. The white flower on the card was die cut and I added a button to the middle to add some dimension. The leaves are also from the same stamp set and I put dimensionals on the back them to pop them up from the card. Don't you love it? I love the chocolate; it goes with everything!
