Wedding Programs

Besides being busy with my two lovely boys, I've been helping my younger sister prepare for her wedding. She is getting married this August, and I've been quite occupied making her wedding programs for her. Her wedding theme is black and white, can you tell? These are some pictures of the programs. It's a trifold program. On the left is a wedding poem and some words from the couple for their guests. In the middle is the ceremony order and on the right is the wedding party. I'm really happy I can make these for her.

You should've seen the envelope box we made for her. It's absolutely beautiful. I will see if I can get her to take a photo of it so I can post it for you all to see.

Thanks for stopping by!

Rasberry Suite Challenge #13

Here's my take on Dawn McVey's Rasberry Suite Challenge # 13. I love these colors together. They really do compliment one another. For today's card I used the Eastern Bloom stamp set from Stampin' Up as well as designer paper. I embossed the large flowers with clear embossing powder and adhered it to the image with dimensionals for that 3-D effect. Love it!

I think the card looks a lot better in person. The lighting is just awful and doesn't capture the glistening of the large embossed flowers. I will try to take a better photo of it tomorrow during the day when the sun is out.

New to Blogging

I am totally new to this whole blogging thing, so please bear with me. I'm also quite excited to start sharing some of the cards I've created. I will upload them just as soon as I figure out how to do it. Hmmm, might take a while but I'm determined to figure it out. Stay tuned!!!
