Thank You Card

This card was made using Papertrey Ink's Anniversary set.  This particular image fits perfectly on the Mat Stack die.  Don't you think this card is so sweet?  I added some rhinestones to the image and also some glitter on the butterfly.

Hello, I'm Back...

So the boys are doing much better.  They both had viruses... high fevers, sores in their mouths.  They weren't too happy, to say the least.  They started feeling better this week. In fact, we even took them out to eat yesterday.  I'm so thankful they are well and healthy again.

So today's card I'm sharing is an awesome Father's Day Card using PTI's Masculine Motifs stamp set.  I am so loving this set.  Doesn't this card just look so masculine?  I always have a hard time making masculine cards but this set makes it easy.  I'll be making some more masculine cards in the upcoming weeks, so stay tuned.

No Cards

Sorry I haven't posted any cards.  My two boys have been sick.  Their fevers keep spiking up and I'm bringing them both to the doctors tomorrow.  I think the older one has Strep.  He has white spots on the back of his throat.  My poor babies are getting all of my attention so I've no time to make any cards but I hope you all understand.  Sorry again!

Violet Birthday Card-2

Happy Saturday everyone!  Here's another Violet birthday card I made.  I love how it turned out.  And I personally think that the button with the faux green thread is the perfect finishing touch to the card.

Dahlia Card

I created the background by using the large dahlia flower and stamping it in three different colors.  I die cut a Dahlia flower and colored it to match.  I also die cut some leaves and colored it with my Copics.  I added a silk ribbon to the middle of the card and placed the Dahlia and leaves on top with dimensionals.  Last, I  placed it on the Rasberry Fizz base card.. Hope you enjoy it!

Butterfly Card 2

I made this card by die cutting the front of the card with a butterfly die.  Then I stamped the inside of the card with a butterfly stamp positioning it to fit right inside the butterfly die cuts.  Then I opened up the card and layed it flat to stamp the background on the front of the card. I like it but I think the next time I do this, I will definitely have to use more color.

Butterfly Birthday Card

I made this birthday card with a butterfly die cut.  I love how it looks.  It was extremely easy to make too which is an awesome plus!  I used the butterfly die cut on a white piece of cardstock and ran it through the Big Shot 3 times placing the die cut in different positions.  I stamped the sentiment on the bottom.  Next, I used dimensionals and placed it on top of  a purple patterned paper and added buttons to the middle of the butterflies.  Then I put it on top of a white base card.  Easy Peasy!

Birthday Card

This birthday card was so fun to make.  I inked up a background impression plate in green and then put it through the Big Shot with white cardstock.  The result was an awesome embossed background.  I also die cut a flower out of blue felt and die cut a smaller flower to place on top of the felt.  I love how it turned out.  So cute!

Flower Pot Cards

I made these two flower pot cards and absolutely love them.  I saw them on Dawn's website a long time ago and made some then, but today I decided to make some more using some die cuts from PTI.  Love them! Be sure to visit Dawn's site to get the deets on how to make this adorable card.

Here are two of the last masculine cards I made for my husband to give to his consultants.  I love the color combos of these cards and the strips of patterned papers are perfect.

Masculine Thank You Card-3

Here's another masculine card very much like the one I posted a couple of days ago but it's a totally different color scheme.  My husband thought this card was really nice.  I'm sure his consultant will appreciate this card.

Masculine Thank You Card-2

Here's another black and white masculine thank you card.  I love how the words thank you are the focal point of this card.  The different patterned papers work well together here.

Happy Birthday Aiden & Masculine Cards

Today is my baby's birthday.  He's turning 1 at 5:05 pm.  I can't believe how fast time flies.  He's already walking around and not such a baby anymore.  Happy Birthday Aiden!!

My husband asked me to make some masculine "Thank You" cards for him so he could give them out to his consultants.  No frilly, girly ribbons and buttons, just very plain and simple.  So today and in the next few days I'll be showing you some masculine cards. Hope you like them!  This one is black and white.  I used some black and white pattern paper to create the design.

PPA36- A Color Challenge

It's been a while since I played Pals Paper Arts, but this week they had a color challenge and I just couldn't resist! Here's the card I made with these soft pastel colors.  Hope you like this one as much as I do!

Felt Flower Card 2

Here's another felt flower card I made.  This card is sooo pretty.  I love how it looks.  It was created using the flower die-cuts from PTI as well.

Felt Flower Card 1

I made this blue felt flower card using PTI's flower die-cuts.  I stamped the background on the white cardstock then used a large flourish stamp and stamped on top of the background.  The sentiment says "Thank you" but it didn't come out too well in the photo.

Violet Birthday Card

Happy April everyone!  Doesn't it seem like the months are just passing by so quickly.  I can't believe it's already April!

Here's a birthday card I made using the smaller violet image from PTI's Year of the Flowers: Violets.  Lovely, isn't it?  I added a little glam to it by putting lots of glitter on the flowers.  Hope you like this one!
