Congrats to You Card

Here's another Congrats to You card.  I played around with the layout on this card.  I actually really like how it turned out.

Flower Embellie Card

Love this card!  It's just soooo pretty! The embellie flower is made from Lila Tueller's Woodland Bloom Fabric. I really like the patterns on this fabric line and the colors are just so yummy!

Argyle Flower Card

Here's a card I made a while back but never posted it.  Isn't it different?  I was playing with my argyle stamp and love the colors that I came up with.  The flowers were die cut so they were quite easy to make.  Doesn't everything just look better with buttons? I love adding buttons to everything!

Colorful Birthday Card

I like this card, but after I made it, I realized that it might just be a little too busy.  I couldn't stop myself. I just kept adding and adding and adding, to the point where I couldn't add anymore. Oh well, here's the card.  What do you think?

Congrats Card

I like this Congrats card because I could see myself using it for many different occasions... wedding, birth of a baby girl, graduation, etc.  I know I always make very feminine cards.  I promise, I'll be making some masculine cards pretty soon.  I always tend to make girly girl cards because I'm a girly girl! :) Can't help it!

Wedding Card

Here's a gorgeous wedding card.  I love it so much, I don't want to give it away. LOL!  It was actually really easy to make because the embellie was already pre-made.  I don't know how I'm going to use up all my embellies.  They are gorgeous though, aren't they?

Happy Birthday Flower Card

Yes, it's another birthday card with another embellie.  LOL! I made tons of these embellies so I have to use it up, right?  Hope you like this one.  I tried my hand at sewing on a card again.  Not perfect yet, but definitely trying to get there.

Simple Birthday Card

I always tend to make tons of birthday cards because I can so easily give it away, and there's always someone celebrating a birthday, right?  Here's an easy peasy card I made.  All I did was cut out a 1/2 inch strip of Berry Sorbet cardstock and adhered it onto a Hawaiin Shores card base (PTI products). Then I stamped the sentiment on the right side of the strip of Berry Sorbet. (The sentiment is from Blooming Button Bits.) Next, I punched out four 1 1/4 squares from left over scrap patterned paper. I used my 1/2 corner rounder on 1 corner of each square and adhered it onto the card.  Lastly I added the button to the middle of the squares. This was seriously the simplest card I ever made.  Sometimes simplicity is all you need.

Library Card 2

Here's another card featuring the Library Card in the background.  I love it!  What do you think?  Can't you see yourself using this?  So many possibilities!

Library Card

I love playing with this Library Card that I printed from Heather Nichols' site.  Click here for the Library Card download.  Just an FYI, I had to adjust the settings to print it out because the first time I printed it, the cards were just too small.  So I had to play around with it until I got the size I wanted.  Also, just this month, Heather Nichols introduced the same exact image as a stamp at PTI for only $5.00, so you can stamp it in any color you want.  (What fun!)  It must have been a very popular download! :)  I just put in an order for that! Can't wait to play with it!  Hope you like this one!

Happy Birthday To You

I think this card is soooo stinkin' cute!  I love the placement of the butterfly and how it pops up on the card.  I also love the ribbon ruffles that I put on the bottom. Love it!

PPA51- Wedding Theme Challenge

I love weddings, don't you? In fact, I'll be attending  a few weddings this summer, so this theme challenge is perfect for me to make some cards that I'll be needing.  I've been having an "embellies obsession" so every one of my card seems to have an embellie on it.  Oh well!  They do dress up the cards...

Hope you like this card.

Quilt Bags

I made these two bags using Lila Tueller's Eden fabric.  I just started sewing and I'm not an expert at it but when I finish a piece, I totally feel tons of gratification! I gave the first one to a friend who just had a baby girl.  I think I'll keep the second one since I absolutely love this fabric and hope to someday have a baby girl myself. Love it!

Congrats to You Card

I'm so loving the bright cheerful colors on this card.  Isn't it awesome.  Again I chose these colors from the pattern paper.  Great color combos, huh?

Library Ledger Card

What to do with a Library Ledger set?  Hmmmm... This is the first time I've used this set.  You can really use anything for stamping.  I love how this turned out and I used the same yummy colors from yesterday.

Happy Birthday Card and Patterned Paper

I don't know about you, but sometimes I just get stumped with color ideas.  You know how I get around that?  I just choose a patterned paper I like and my color choices are already picked out for me.

I wanted to make a card but wanted to use different color combos. I loved how bright and cheerful this patterned paper was, so I took it out and decided to use the green and blue colors in it as my base and for layering.  This card was super easy to make!

Flower Card 3

Sometimes you make a card, you look at it and say, "Blah!"  Well, this is not one of those times!  I LOVE this card.  I can honestly say it looks even better in person. Too bad you can't see it in person because it really is just lovely! I love how the colors work so well with each other.  I am always reaching for green, pink, and white.  It screams spring and summer!  Love it! And I hope you do too!

Birthday Wishes

I didn't realize I had some ink on my finger when putting this card together so I got a little on the top left corner. I also didn't notice how crooked the photo was. I apologize for that. You can still see it though, right? Hope you like this one too!

Happy Birthday Flower Card

I didn't realize how blurry the first photo was until I downloaded it onto my computer so I apologize for that.  I stamped the Argyle background, added a ruffled ribbon, and put the flower and sentiment on top.  It was so easy to make.  Love it!

Flower Card 2

I stamped the background with flowers from PTI's All About You stamp set.  The white flower on the card was die cut and I added a button to the middle to add some dimension. The leaves are also from the same stamp set and I put dimensionals on the back them to pop them up from the card.  Don't you love it?  I love the chocolate; it goes with everything!

Cookie Monster and Elmo Cards

Great ideas should be shared and I love that Dawn is always sharing her cards with us bloggers.  I made this after watching Dawn's video. Easy peasy, I tell you.  What a simple card to whip up for a little kid.  My two boys thought that these were the absolute neatest.  Go to Dawn's site to watch a video on how to make these.

On a side note that has absolutely nothing to do with stamping, I just want to wish my hubby a Happy Anniversary.  Today we celebrate 6 years of marriage.  However we dated for 10 years before getting married, so we've actually been together for 16 years!  I can't believe it.  I've known this man for 16 years and everyday he proves to me what a wonderful husband and father he is.  How lucky am I to share a life with him and build a family together. Here's to another 16 years together and then some!  Love you!

Flower Card

Isn't this one a total beauty? I handstamped the Argyle image with the same color inks to match the pattern paper that I used. The flower was die cut from silk fabric.  In person, it has a beautiful sheen to it, but the photos don't do it any justice.

From All of Us Card

I've had this stamp set for the longest time but never really used it.  This is actually the first time I've used it on a card.  I really like it and that is totally my little family with my husband, myself, and my two little boys.  So stinkin' cute, isn't it? I can't wait to give this one out!

Happy Birthday Card

In all honesty, most of the cards I make are birthday cards because I always find those the most useful.  We go to a birthday party practically every weekend, so I run out of birthday cards pretty fast.

Love this one because the color pairings are quite different from what I usually do.  I purchased some paper flowers on sale at Joann's and wanted to use it so I paired it up some orange and brown cardstock.  Love how it turned out.

Alien Birthday Card 3

Okay, so this is the last card from the Greetings Earthlings stamp set that I've been playing with.  The background was made with some scrap strips that I had leftover.  I love how I can just layer the scraps next to each other like that and create an awesome background.  I always have tons of scraps so this is definitely a good way to use them.

Alien Birthday Card 2

I don't know if this character actually looks like an alien, but it comes from the same stamp set as the one I used yesterday.  It's called Greetings Earthling from Stampin' Up.  I have another card from the same set again to show you tomorrow.

Alien Birthday Card

Isn't this card adorable?  It's a perfect card for a boy.  I had so much fun putting it together.  The toughest part was coloring in the alien.  Watercoloring is all new to me and I'm not so great at it either so it took me forever.  Hope you like this one!

Purple Butterflies

Happy 4th of July!  Today I don't have a 4th of July card for you, but I hope you all have a great day!

It's so nice to see butterflies out and about in my backyard.  They are just so beautiful!  Although, I must say, I was totally disgusted when they were caterpillars on my tree.  You look at their beauty now and you forget that they were those hairy little crawlers.

Here's a butterfly card for you all.  Hope you like this.

Chrysanthemum Card

I love the bright sunshiny colors on this card.  It gives me such a warm, comforting feeling inside and always brings a smile to my face. I've never done this layout before.  I think it's different but simple.

More Flowers and Embellies

Don't you love this card as well.  If you saw my card yesterday, this is very similar.  I love the look of spring and summer.

Flower Power

Happy July Everyone!  I can't believe how fast the months pass by.  It's already July and pretty soon it'll be Christmas but I don't even want to think about that!

Oh goodness!  I love this card.  Don't you?  The colors are so warm and pretty.  I left it blank with no sentiment so that I could use it for just about any occasion.
